Infrastructure Team expands with appointment of Mark Blackwell

We're delighted to share that Mark Blackwell has recently joined the NASH Crew to further develop and deliver our maritime infrastructure business.

Mark is an experienced project director and programme manager with close to three decades experience in the waterway, leisure and maritime infrastructure sector.

His previous work has included securing regeneration and infrastructure consent to create new recreational opportunities on the canals and rivers surrounding the Olympic Park in London, overseeing the management of the Canal & River Trust national moorings portfolio (an important revenue stream for the charity) and, more recently, advising on commercial mooring strategies for government agencies and helping clients deliver complex projects.

Sam Anderson-Brown, Maritime Infrastructure business lead at NASH Maritime said:

We’re delighted to have Mark join the NASH Maritime crew. He brings with him knowledge of the many waterways in the UK, particularly the River Thames, as well as navigational risk assessment and consent experience. We look forward to him bringing his expertise and understanding to our increasing project portfolio.

Mark joins NASH Maritime at a time when demand for its services to the maritime and waterway sector continue to grow both in the UK and internationally.
