CalMac Ferries Ltd is the UK’s largest ferry operator, running 29 routes to over 50 destinations, across 200 miles of Scotland’s west coast.
Challenge
The company wished to procure a Port Management and Information System (PMIS) to meet the needs of CalMac Harbours Division which operates 27 ports and harbours throughout Scotland.
Solution
NASH Maritime was commissioned to assist in the specification, tendering and implementation of the new PMIS.
Partnering with CalMac Ferries, we:
- Scoped the technical requirements (modules) of the PMIS;
- Prepared the technical specification;
- Ran the tendering process; and
- Devised the tendering evaluation procedure
The Tender Award was made in December 2020.
